Yeah, I have done that. Earlier you were able to hide the whole thing and the actually forum exanded back to take up that room on the left side.

New face lift looks very good to those of you responsible . Hope the new format makes things easier for you to monitor. I have two forums of my own and am thinking about switching to this style. Thanks!

Then it sounds like they need to get more people on here that know what they are doing. A dedicated dev, not an admin.
I've made suggestions in the past and they go unanswered. The staff is too traditional and stuck in their ways to make actual progress or change in a timely fashion. If everyone lived by 'if its not broke dont fix it', nothing would ever improve.

There are few things visually that are better with vB4. There are a LOT of minor css problems that could be resolved in a matter of minutes

Your displeasure has been noted. If you'd like to volunteer to pay for a dedicated developer or work to make some of those changes for the same pay we receive, that being non-monetary, please drop Fenway a PM for him to evaluate your ability in that area.

I do not like the looks of any of those sites you posted. In particular I find the Wolf site to be incredibly tacky.

What is your largest forum at this time?

I own and built the last three, co-own and dev the 2nd and Dev'd for the first. At one time before it was sold the first had somewhere around 98k or 100k members back in early 2000-2004.

Take away the blue and add a good contrasting 2 tone color and I'd like it better

I've gotta say that, while I understand it's probably frustrating to have people complaining about the changes or saying things need fixed or that they could to better, I'm not sure it's appropriate for site administration or staff to be stooping down to that level. Sorry...had to say it.
