    Hello all,
I've been hunting for many years now but have never attempted trapping. I would like to learn the craft. I know very little about it now and am looking for information from you guys. Can you give me some advice or places to look for good information for the newbie to trapping? Start with the basics and I can go from there.
    Thank you in advance

Check the DNR website for Trapper Ed classes or the Trapper College offered at Purdue. Ask around your local gun/sporting goods store and I'm sure they can put you in touch with someone. Trapping is a great way to spend time outdoors, good luck!

    trapperman.com is a good site

I also suggest you attend a trappers ed class list on the DNR web site.
you will meet instructors there to asnswer questions and give advice etc.
