    Rossi is made by Taurus...but is based on the older S&W 36 model. I had one a few years ago and it was a good gun! Keep an eye out for a used Taurus if you want a .38 or a .357mag.

    Or, I would suggest that you save up a few more dollars and look at the Ruger SP101's, their LCR, or maybe a S&W snubbie. Learning to use a good snub-nosed revolver is a lot of fun!!!
