First he screws with our clocks now he is coming after me personally. What a douche bag.

Truthfully its smart for him to get behind it. My guess is there are multiple times the people in favor of this than against it. He may not even fully agree with it, being a politician you follow whatever gets you your next job.

    Where's the bacon?
I see lots of people complaining. There may have been posts I missed, but I didn't see anyone doing anything about it.

    My letters just went out.

    Dear <name>

I am aware of the effort to enact a statewide smoking ban in the upcoming session of the General Assembly. I am not a smoker, in fact, I despise the stuff, however, I am steadfastly against the enactment of such a ban, as it intrudes on the private property rights of the owner. Those who do not wish to breathe the smoke may choose other businesses to patronize.

I ask you to please vote AGAINST the statewide smoking ban.

Thank you, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, and may the upcoming session be both successful and liberty-minded.

It may not do a dang bit of good, but it can't hurt to write.

    Blessings,
