The 42-year-old Scott pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor tax evasion in February. Scott would have to forfeit his seat if convicted of a felony. He said he won't resign because he needs to support his family.

Gotta love a guy who supports his family through tax evasion while making a career funded through corruption and taxation of others.

The only difference between him and 95% of the remaining politicians in this country is that he was caught, tried and convicted for his crimes. The fact that his fellow elected officials were completely lacking in outrage or even disappointment in his behavior serves to confirm it.
