They have a camry now with lights and a smart car with lights. It's beyond stupid, but it won an award at the police fleet expo for most ridiculous police car or something.

I see why they put the lights on the passenger side...to counterbalance the officer.:):

I can't wait to go 10-39 up and down 30th st, sharing the road with my brilliant fellow motorists in a big rolling bomb filled with natural gas.

Before the merger in 2007 (I was on the MCSD) the Sheriff decided the department needed a couple of Waverunners to patrol Geist. I honestly thought my hot air balloon had a chance at that point but noOOoooo...

Well, if such a common sense requisition wasn't met then, I don't think that your department has it's priorities in order at all my good man.

I think the data showing how many high-speed car chases occurred in 2012 and how many chases were "called off" will show that an entire fleet of V8 gas guzzlers really isn't needed.

Danville has a new caprice police vehicle. First one I've seen so far around here.
    6.0 V8 355 HP it's rated at...
