    It seems like a lot of folks have started this year with a gun purchase, so I thought I might as well share mine. I picked up this 686 a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't been able to actually put a round through it yet. I have shot some Snap-Caps through it, and I'm really impressed with the trigger pull, especially single-action. I would have preferred one without a lock, but I got such a good deal on this one I couldn't walk away.

    Thanks fellas. It is killing me that haven't been able to shoot this thing yet. The only good part is that in the two weeks since I have owned it, I've managed to load up about 1000 38 Special rounds and 200 357 Magnum rounds. When the next nice day comes along, it's definately ON!

    [FONT=&quot]I really like S&W revolvers.

    I personally believe they are the best American made revolvers ever made.

    I own a S&W 66-4 Revolver – 38/.357 cal

    And I put many many rounds down range with it.

    I consider it one of my best shooting guns.
