I did a bear hunt in Idaho with Lost Lake Outfitters about 8 years ago. We had a base camp about 4 hours by horse into the mountains. There were 4 of us. 3 bowhunters and 1 rifle. We killed 4 bears. That was one of the best hunts I have ever been on. I don't know if Lost lake is still in business. We had a couple of guys from Vermont about 25 years old for guides. They made the hunt what is was.
