I have 3 CZs in the safe. I'm not sure about anyone local that may have one on the shelf at this time though. I have heard rumor that CZs are only imported once a year and once they are gone, and they go quick, you are pretty much SOL until next year.

Last time I was in Bradis they had a Canik S-120 on the shelf. It is a very well made, some say better than the CZ, Turkish clone of the CZ-75. Might be something to consider if you can't find a real deal CZ. and if Bradis doesn't have it anymore Bud's Gun shop has them in stock as well as the CZ-75.

Buds has the omega variant, the one with all the trigger issues. I guess the spring on the trigger bar falls off if you vigorously seat a magazine and it renders the gun inoperable until a full detail strip and repair is done. Lol, I think I'll stick with the original while they sort the omega issue out.

Ah, I missed that. I just saw they had a CZ-75 in stock. I hope you find one, they are great pistols.


I have 2 P-01s and a RAMI. The only pistol I regret selling is my CZ-75. I will replace it some day.

My 75b omega trigger is different than my 75b, but it is much like my pre B that is smooth.

There is no problem with the Omegas. Just different. CZ wouldnt keep producing them if they were that unreliable.

Chances are if shops don't have one in stock, then neither do their distributor. Just guessing

Maybe, but it's entirely possible that the shop just didn't order one. Or maybe only the CZ-75SA (the best basic model) is available, and the shop didn't think that anyone would buy a single action pistol that's not a 1911. It never hurts to check is all I'm saying.

You can also save money doing it my way if your KTFFL is cooperative.

Again, there are a few on Gunbroker. Also you can go to Cajun Gun Works website under guns for sale. They have the 97BE. A little pricey but, from what I understand, it is the 97B at its absolute best.
