    HI All,
Here is the deal, here a few weeks ago I traded for a Sweet looking Pre Ban Colt AR 15, the problem is the guy that bought it new changed the barrel and bolt. The lower is marked 7.62x39, and it has a Colt 20" H Bar5.56 barrel and a Bolt. Every part is Colt and the only thing they change was the barrel, gas tube, and bolt. The BC is 7.62 Colt but it works great for the 5.56. If I was keeping this gun it wouldn't matter.
If I leave it the way it is, How hard is it to sell?
Do you all think I could hunt down a Colt 7.62 barrel and bolt? I have owned a lot of AR and have built several, but there is something about a Colt and it isn't the name, I cannot explain it.
I wait to here from you all. (What to Do?)
Thank you all for taking the time to read this.

If you are going to shoot 5.56 put the right bolt in it.
Colt 7.62 upper are pretty hard to find, they pop up once in a while but not very often.

What I was told, was the guy swapped the barrel and bolt.I looked at a Colt 7.62 AR and the BC that is in the one I looked at, mine look's just like the one in the other gun. 7.62x39 BC looks differnt than a AR 15 or a M16. I have not head spaced it but I am going to in the morning.
