Anyone have a Metro Arms American Classic Trophy. I have talked myself into another 1911. I know about Kimber, Springfield, Dan Wesson, Sig , RIA and etc. I carry a STI. I have looked at pictures of the Metro Arms American Classic Trophy and like the looks and upgrades. I know that a Ruger, Remington, and Colts are better for a bit more money. It will be a truck gun and not hurt as much if someone needed it more than me. If you own one , have owned one or shot a friends a lot please tell me what you think of it.

    Shot One Last Summer

A friend of mine has one, and also a Remington. Last summer, we shot both side by side at his farm.
The Metro Arms was more accurate than the Remington. He tells me he has over 900 rounds through it, with no issues.
He told me he would by another one, if he could find one.

Ive handled one its of good quality. I know people always prefer American 1911's (made in brazil ie Springers). But I haven't had any issues with RIA I believe Metro Arms (American Classic) is of similar or better build quality.
