I made these pens last night on my lathe. They are bolt action, with the clip being a rifle.

The first 2 are made from Olive Wood, which is from Bethlehem. The other is woodland camo acrylic.

LOL. Well, I didn't post them on here to sell, I just thought I'd brag a little :)

I HAVE sold a few of these though. I sold them for $35. And that's figuring in the kit and wood.
I can also do engraving, which is an additional price.

I made a few of these for Christmas gifts as well.

I think you really could make good money selling on Etsy or eBay...there is a surprisingly high amount of gun stuff on Etsy

Very nice. You can't be making much money on these for only $35 though. Are you breaking even?

I've only sold a few. I really don't know WHAT to charge for them. There's a bit of time involved as well. And while I enjoy turning the Acrylic, it can shatter and crack very easily on the lathe. It really depends on the batch you get.

I kind of think it would take a certain type of person to buy a pen that costs over $40...
