I just converted a non-gun owner to a gun owner too...

My real estate partner has been seeing me walk around with a gun for the past year. He had a rifle when he was younger, hunted in his youth, but for the past decade or so has been living in a gun free zone because his wife is anti-gun. Well he just caved into his own common sense, bought a Taurus PT111 and is applying for his License To Carry a Handgun.

I printed out some stuff from the ISP, gave him the info so he can go to the Hammond P.D. and apply for his license. He's not the type to OC but he often wears suits and sportcoats so he can easily conceal with an OWB and those are generally more comfortable than IWB holsters.

I'm curious to hear about his wife's reaction.

Oh, and he wants an AR15 next

Doubt that will happen, but he may well drink the Detonics Combat Master Kool-Aid. He has been looking at one of my Combat Masters with envious eyes and really wants one of those.

This is the one he likes, he asked about the grips, I didn't have the heart to tell him the grips of this gun were almost twice the price of his Taurus pistol
