haha. LUCKY!!! I love finding ammo that I've stashed away, but it's normally only 1 or 2 hundred 9mm or .45.

The closest I ever came to hitting the lotto like this was when I found 2 cases of 38 special. Too bad it was all my dads and I dont have a gun to shoot 38 special out of. I almost went out and bought a 38 special gun just for that though

And that is your story and you are going to stick to it....Nothing is ever lost, just misplaced.:D

Better than that, I went to the range yesterday with a 308 bolt gun and a 50 cal can of ammo.

When I opened the ammo can, I found the watch cap that I have been trying to find since the last time I shot that rifle and ammo.

    Go figure....

I found a range bag in my storage barn a couple of weeks ago full of .45acp, mags, my good hearing and eye protection. I thought someone had walked off with them.
    Getting senile I guess.
It was a great relief on one hand but disturbing I didn't remember putting it in the storage barn. LOL!

I can definitely relate. I've always heard that the memory is the first thing to go...I just don't remember with the second was. :D
