Did you have a voice recorder running? When you do, you can always play it back to make sure what you heard. (especially when you were asleep at the time)


Assuming this is in the city where you can't freely shoot.

My niece was hearing gunshots in South Bend earlier...turned out to be fireworks. I guess they are starting early.
