So a while back i heard some strange rumor or whatever that Texas was trying to secede from the union.
This sparked a thought. Each state has it's own gov't for a reason, and each state is responsible for those in it's boundaries. Therefore, each state can - as long as it's covered by the federal constitution - pass any law they see fit.
I use StumbleUpon alot, and ran across this article about the Montana Governor passing a 'Try me, Feds' law today: Linkity-link link.
He passed it back in May of this year, and the Feds have had plenty of time to react, and nothing's happened. This both excites and worries me. Either the Feds have seen a boundary they cannot cross, or they're assembling a strike team as we speak to 'resolve' the conflict.
