I am pretty well known by the proprietors of most of our local gun shops just because I like to peruse the offerings from time to time.
I've had the opportunity to help a few shops with repairs or upgrades to their structures in the past so I've developed a very close relationship with these.

One of my close friends in the business knows I'm fond of the AR15 platform and called yesterday with an offer.
He said Anderson Manufacturing was having a dealer sale on their stripped uppers and lowers.
He offered me his dealer prices of $28.50 (+ tax) each, for either the uppers or lowers.
I also do not pay transfer fees at this shop.
He said it looks like they'll come out right at $30 each out the door.

How could I refuse?

I've thought about that.
I've seen speculations though that the Valkyrie round could be hard on throat erosion due to the excessive speeds.

Not sure which direction I'll turn.

I would buy as many as possible. You never know when the next big solar wind is gonna come and knock out all of our electronics and the only true currency is the firearm and ammunition.
