I Finally Made The Switch

Turkey bacon isn't bad. it's not bacon and therefore is named poorly. but for a meat, it's reasonable.

The main reason I did this is because of the price. The bacon I normally get was $3.99 for 24 slices and the turkey bacon was $1.19.

Make sure you make a valid comparison for the specific turkey bacon and bacon you're eating and not eating. Many people just assume that because it says "turkey" that it automatically has less fat and calories and that's not always true. Some turkey bacon has just as much fat and calories per gram as does some regular bacon. Some real bacon is very lean, some turkey bacon is . . . not.

It's like people who think margarine is automatically better for them than butter. Both are pure fat with the same caloric content.
