its been about a month since ive shot period and about 3 months since ive had a good long range day. so i was ready to say the least.

i called igw last night about 9pm and he cleared a chunk of his schedule to come join it.

i had to finish sighting in a muzzleloader incase i get a chance to hunt before season goes out, and do some rimfire pratice.

i went threw 400ish rounds just confirming my dope on my new scope and just playing around. nick and i were shooting steel wich is normal, but we found a new shooting game that was a blast.

we put out electric fencepost insulators between 100 and 200 yards and raced the insulators accross the field. had a blast and learned i love my new setup.

Those little plastic things? Sounds like fun, you should take a video next time.

i might have to do that. we shot at them up to 300 yds. i know i didn't get a good hit and i dont think nick did either at that range but we were sure making the insulators sweet. i know i had a few that didn't miss by a whole inch

Eh, if the target is too small to hit, you need to use larger bullets. :D

Although to be honest a direct hit on one and you would just obliterate it even more.

the only thing we were shooting at them was 22 lr. we had one inpaticular that i bet took 10-15 dirrect hits before finally shattering. we danced it from about 125 acros a small waterway out to about 160 before it took the final hit

Sunds like a fun day Vette, i need to get another day in before the weather turns completly nasty

nick and i had quite a few people pull out in my field to ask what we were doing last year. apparentally they thought 2 people laying in a foot of snow looking at a hill almost 1/2 mile away in 0 degree temps was odd:dunno:
