Both serve their purpose. I've fixed many things by pulling out my iPhone and opening pdf manuals in ibooks.

Paper manuals will soon be a thing of the past. Especially when you open a pdf online and it's 500+ pages.

One thing I will miss when paper goes away, is to open several different manuals at the same time and compare one to the others and go back and forth. Try that with digital manuals.

And No, I've never used my SOCK, I'm not a barbarian!

Tube socks, soft, very absorbent, hard to flush! I thought we informed them on this.

Meh...Like an old guy told me at work one time: Some guys will get 20 years of experience and some will get 1 years experience 20 times. You can buy 'em books but you can't make them learn.

Those "youths" pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. They didn't want to carry the tire and rim in so they concocted a plan to look stupid by bringing the hub cap in. Thus the tire tech had to go fetch the tire. Pretty smart I'd say.

This thread has taken a really funny turn!! As for manuals on the PC, I love them. I can't see the book print like I used to. And I have 3 screens in the shop so I can switch between things. The only thing that's a pain is having to wipe the marker off the display from making notes!!

I agree with those that say parenting is the cause.

I plead the fifth on anything sock and/or potty related.

Manuals on computers can be ok, but out on the floor I need it printed.
