    IF an AWB were to happen and there was no grandfather clause, would M16's, MP5's, ect go down with the rest?

    It sure would suck to have a gun worth $20k be turned into Contraband with an executive order.

    All of this crap going on just got me thinking.

    Machine guns haven't been subject to any existing AWB's. Also, I don't know what the legalities of no grandfathering would be. If they weren't grandfathered, they'd be contraban and have to be turned in. That would certainly bring on a court challenge.
