I don't fit 'thru a round' so I guess I'm going to have to lose some weight, but I do manage to get through a doorway. Does that count?

But this sounds like that fitting a camel through the eye of a needle thing. I have a hard enough time getting thread through the eye of a needle.

First let me say welcome to INGO a very nice site to get answers and suggestions on gun ownership. One thing to remember is that not all the answers you get will be helpful or serious. (See above posts) To answer your question I usually shoot:
    100-400 rounds of 9mm
    100-200 rounds of 9x18
    500-1000 rounds of 22lr

Also welcome to INGO. Round count/ month has gone down lately because of work but usually
    100-300 9mm
    50-100 .45
    50-100 .40
    50-100 357/38
    1000-1500 .22
Various other rifle cals. depending on what gets drug out.

You obviously don't spend much time in Hamilton County! In Carmel they are replacing nearly EVERY intersection with roundabouts.

    As far as ammunition,

    I go through about 200-300 9mm a month, and 50-100 .223.

I take the .357 out once in a while but not enough to have a monthly round count. When I do shoot it I usually go through 18 or so shots fired with it.

These estimates are for me and do not include my wife's shooting.

1600 rounds all .40 since 29July. Doubt if I can afford to keep that up though! Plan is 150 rounds twice a week to practice and maintain. More if I start competing. :)

PS: 240 rounds downrange tonight 08/29/2010 to break in wife's new Gen.4 G22.

200 rounds of .45 ACP depending on how much the kids go shootong with me. I try to get to the range twice a month. It has hit a high of better than 500 rounds though.

These are approximates, 100-150 rds of .40, +/- 50 rds of .357, 100-200 rds of .38spl, 100-200 rds of 7.62 x 39, 300-500 rds of .22, 25-30 rds of .380. Again, these are approximations but would generally reflect an average month.

    approx. 200rds/9mm
    200rds/.40cal
    100rds/.38sp
    300rds/7.62x39
    300rds/.308
    100rds/8mm Mauser
?????/.22 shorts/longs/long rifles, I have never tried to keep
count. And would be hard pressed to attempt.

This is not EVERY month, but when I shoot those calibers during that particular month, those are pretty good estimations, and some months I might shoot more of a particular caliber. Especially the 7.62x39 and .308, I really run through those in my Saiga's. But I really stock up during the Knob Creek MachineGun Shoots.

About 700 rounds. This seems like a low number to me. I must try to increase it. My Dr. said I need to hear more booms!

Just depends on what I am doing that month.

Shooting handguns; couple of hundred rounds.

Taking the boys plinking with .22's; couple of hundred rounds.

Zeroing a new rifle; maybe 40 rounds.

Deer season; five rounds or less.
