On average how many rounds do you go through in a month? Besides the obvious answer of not as much as i would like to, i have been on a slow pace as of late and only putting about 50-100 rds through each of my firearms so somewhere between 150-200 per month. Just wondering what the rest of you guys go through:ar15:

I been shooting around a thousand a month through my tactical sport. Maybe another 500 between .22's, shotgun, etc.

I've been shooting a couple boxes of .300 Win Mag a month just to get ready for an upcoming antelope hunt. Other than that, not much. It almost is too much of a pain in the ass to drag all my gun crap to the range with me. I like to do that once or twice a year, but not every month.

Normally about 500 to 1000 a month. But with the price and availability of ammo of late it is down to about a 50 to 100 just to keep proficient and so I do not deplete my stored ammo.

    What caliber are you shooting?

    That's $400/month if you were shooing 9mm.

    Wow.

We've really got to get you into reloading :D This is what $250/month gets us when we have the $$$ to shoot as much as we'd like:

This is what we shoot, and what it costs, when we can actually budget what we'd like:
    .38 Special = 400 rds a month cast bullets
.357 Magnum = 400 rds a month using cast bullets
    .357 Magnum = 100 rds a month using XTP HPs $23
.45 ACP = 800 rds a month using cast bullets
    3 bricks of .22s.

500 at max 9mm, 7.62x39, and 5.56 combined. Until I can find a source that has plentiful ammo in mediocre prices, I'll probably scale back to a lot of airsoft FoF practice for a little while. My stocks are depleting faster than I can find resupply.

I try to make it to the range at least every other week, so I guess this adds up to about 250-300 or so rounds a month for the handguns, and 50-100 rounds for the rifles. Don't have either time or money to be able to do more!
