That would end badly for the criminal. If he doesn't get shot again, he would be the number one suspect. I would hope that the victim would be notified when the criminal gets free.

An 18 year old was recently arrested in Clarksville and charged with attempted murder, car theft, etc. Now he will be charged with murder for firing a flare pistol into a house in New Albany which burned. Three young children were killed and the surviving sibling burned over 20%. His girlfriend said that people are portraying him as a monster, but he has a good heart. He just makes bad choices. I suppose even Chuck Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer had some people say good things about them.
