It fit my hand fairly well when I picked one up at the gun show, but not as well as the P30 which is now available in .40:

I'd also look toward the P30 as anything new will be geared to this model, holsters/etc

Either one you pick will serve you exceedingly well

Having shot one, its okay. A bit clunky for something marketed as a small gun. Fit hand really well and trigger was okay. For the money, its not a huge value buy, but for the quality (why buy fully loaded Honda accord when an Acura is much nice looking), its great.

While I don't have a P2K, I do have the subcompact sk model. My only complaint is that the mag well is just a bit too small for my hands. Fitted with a 12 round magazine and a X-Grip and it's perfect for CC.

No experience with a P30 yet, so can't comment.

IIRC, the 12 round magazine and X-Grip in a P2ksk have approx. the same dimensions for the mag well as a P2K. That's about a size 10 glove with a three fingered grip.

If you have the chance, get it with the LEM trigger. You'll be saying ohh baby all day long.

Saw the P30 pic and it reminded me of what I REALLY want. Looked around today for one, couldn't find it other than at Gander MTN and of course their prices were high.

Anyway, I don't know anything about the P2000 but you really should grip a P30 and see what you think.
