Help to identify please

I purchased a collection from a coworkers widow..not sure about this one other than it came with a box of 308 Norma ammo. The scope is redfield 2x7 any help appreciated,,Im new I know and yes not alot of gun smarts..thank you again.

remove the stock and look at the bottom of the barrel or action, it should have something stamped into the metal

I don't know what it is . Have you looked it over ? , bolt, barrel and stock ? You haven't found any identifying marks or stamps ?

no markings anywhere from just looking at it

i have not done any taken apart..just visual and had 2 coworkers look to..we cannot find any markings

Yeah..... taking the stock off is a good place to start.

there is a stock screw in the fore stock and a couple on the trigger guard, and in the but pad, that shoud be all

flat head prob...good place to start

you might have to take the but pad off, maybe not though (that might just be my 870 I'm thinkg of)

well I dont thihnk im brave enough to take it apart,,perhaps a trip to a gunshop..sad thing is there is nothing around this part of the state.

I was nervious my first time too, its no biggie really, just remove screws and take apart. Or come to Indy for some free beer and we can do it together!!!
