Hello from Southwestern Indiana

I bought my first gun about 6 years ago to use as a concealed carry. I managed to make it until about 2 weeks ago without purchasing another one, and I feel like I have so much catching up to do... I picked up a compact 9mm to compliment my 9mm subcompact, and I went out a week later and picked up a 22lr plinker on a whim. I do have a couple of questions for you well adjusted Hoosiers.

1. Is it common to constantly research and hunt for a new gun, part, or accessory?

2. How do you hide it from your wife/significant other? I think mine is catching on..
