Greetings!! Been lurking for a while, decided to register and join the "club". 42 years young, been around long guns my entire life, attended a handful of hunter safety courses and finally decided a few months ago to dive into handguns and started my research. Visited a handful of gun shops around the area and talked to many friendly and very helpful folk. Finally found a pistol two days ago that I am quite certain that I will enjoy and ordered it. Hope to pick it up next week. Look forward to handgun ownership. Even more stoked that I have been able to convince my wife to take a pistol safety/training course with me in the Spring! (she is a typical "girly girl" and is not at all interested in guns, so this is a big step for her - and I cant believe she agreed to it!)
