Hello from Indy - Southside!

Hey everyone. 29 year old Indy Southsider here. Started hunting about 5 years ago (deer, turkey, coyote), but just now getting my first handgun. I'm looking to get a Glock 19 as my first pistol, but I know as soon as I get one it won't be long before I get another! Mainly looking for target shooting and home defense (shotgun as a primary). Applied for my handgun license online over the weekend and going to the City/County Building tomorrow to finish the application.

I found this forum only a couple of days ago, but appears that everyone here is friendly and helpful. I'm sure I will ask a lot of questions and make use of the FAQ, but hoping to just get more knowledgeable about handguns.
