Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I've always been into guns and am about to buy my first pistol for HD. I did not know where to ask this question but I was convicted of an OWI last year and im wanting to get my carry permit. That's owi is the only thing on my record. So has anyone on here had an owi/dui before getting their permit to carry? Do you guys/gals think it will keep me from getting approved? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, as far as I am aware two main things are conviction of a felony or any type of battery. I'm not a lawyer tho, so definitely do some research.
