Hello there, long time browser finally decided to join the forum. Not a newbie to firearms, have been shooting several times with friends, but a newbie to firearm ownership. Looking for a local range now that SS has closed up shop thats not going force me to join a club that will charge me an arm and a leg join up.

Sugar Ridge is ok on weekdays, but as it's public & +30 miles away, with shortest range @ 25 yds, it's not the greatest, but better than nothing.

No kidding. Years ago, there was a rumor that Bluegrass might build a public range, but that's as far as it got, a rumor.
