It seems like every week lately I read or hear a story similar to the following:

Philadelphia school district defends decision to scold, search student over paper gun | Fox News

Or the one last week about the girl who was accused of making terrorist threats with her "hello kitty" bubble gun.

I know that most educators are a bunch of hyper sensitive liberals, but this is beyond insanity. These people are shaping and molding our kids. We've had a couple generations of increasing wussieness when it comes to educating our kids.

No little kid should be made to bear the weight of this craziness. Leave them alone and let them be normal kids. The ultimate goal in all this is to teach them that guns are bad and their parents should not have guns at home. They cannot draw, pretend, or even talk about guns without getting expelled from school. I am afraid that these liberal educators are about one generation or less from accomplishing their goal.
