Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington, and the Education of a President
I'm thinking about buying this one. From what I gather, it is an in-depth account of the first two years or so of the Obama White House regarding the failure of its economic policies. The author, Ron Suskind, argues (with many supporting quotes from key White House players) that Obama was not much of a leader at all at the beginning and that advisers with big personalities bickering over economic proposals did not help the president either.
Has anyone read this? Any thoughts?
