From the Bedford/Lawrence county area it's well over 300 miles...we went way to the west around Chicago and ended up over 400 miles on the way up. Long day, but a beautiful ride.
That bike was crated when a tsunami hit - don't remember which one - washed up on a beach. The plaque says it's a tribute to the destructive power of a Tsunami.
Yes I was also there when it first opened during the 100th anniversary festivities, it was a very cool weekend with a lot to see. Only down fall is you can't find a bud light in that town.
