So my tax gift to myself is to get a couple of handguns duracoated and possibly stippled.

I am opening this up to the group. What color combination (slide/frame) looks best to you?

I'm partial to the OD green / black combination, myself.

    Especially on metal-framed firearms.

Green frame + black slide & controls looks slick on a 1911!

One of my 23's is getting done now with a gray slide black frame and stippled grip.

I suggest tactical desert beige for the slide, if you're like desert tan.

I'm partial to the slide being lighter than the grip. Great thing about duracoat is that you can do this without making your pistol look flashy. These colors are available in "tactical" duracoat, which is anti-reflective.

Be sure to post a pic of the finished product :)
