It seems like I'm having more and more customers coming in to report that they've had guns stolen from their houses. It's to the point of 2-3 customers per week now! I'm in north central Indiana and I've been getting reports from Cass, Carol, Howard, and Miami counties.

Has anyone else noticed this? Just wondering if it was a sign of unemployment and the economy or not.

    No, not surprising.

Home burglaries are big throughout north central Indiana as people usually drive long distances for work and are away from home. Sounds like they need a Johnson Safe.:D

What is surprising is that they live there and do not lock up their firearms.

If they don't know how to secure the firearms don't buy them. You always need a way to lock up your guns. If you leave the house.
