There also should be a "standing up in every corner of the house" option.

I thought of that after posting, but you can't edit polls as a user, and I only have 10 options to work with. I wish I had combined drawer and closet together I could have had gun room as an option.

For years I had a glass doored gun cabinet but as the number of both guns and grandchildren increased a gun safe became a necessity. I chose a Browning silver series with dial lock as good compromise between cost and security. Any safe can eventually be broken into but what I have keeps the youngsters from getting ahold of them without supervision.

We have the gun room. It is just the wife and me in our home. That being said I am also a big proponent of strategically placed weapons in the house with a practiced plan of using what's in hand to fight to each consecutive location.

The house is the vault, the trained German Shepherd is the combination.

He has that "I'm not gonna tolerate any nonsense" look to him.
