Anyone know how large the show in South Bend fairgrounds is this weekend is? Is it worth driving a few hours for?

I don't know. probably not. I'm only considering going because I live in South Bend. I went to a show there about a year and a half ago, wasn't impressed, and haven't made any effort to go back. I ought to check it out again though.

Spent a little time @ South Bend Fairgrounds show. pretty much the same as it was last time I was there, only not as much ammo. Beef Jerky Guy was there, a few knife makers, the target guy, Crazy Len, ZX, 21st Century Firearms, Class 3 sales, and a few others (a guy selling metal polish?).

The Terre Haute show wasn't bad. I was surprised at how crowded it was. There was a decent selection of guns, but to my knowledge no amazing deals.

I got a pretty good deal on a Mosin Nagant, but that was it.

I went to the SB show on Saturday. Bought a .357 Dan Wesson. I'm happy with it and looking forward to shooting it. Since I live in between South Bend and Fort Wayne, I'll probably go there too.

In other words a person has to spend around $20 before he or she even catches a glimpse of a single gun at the Indy 1500?
