I've never had a problem going into Pizza Hut armed. There is a difference between a store that has a policy against some employees being armed and one that has a policy against customers being armed.

At my company we had a policy against our truck drivers being armed. I instituted that policy. My drivers were interstate drivers and many routes drove into Chicago. I instituted the policy only after I found out some of my drivers were breaking the carry laws and had to do it to prevent my trucks from being impounded. Our policy did allow for carry on the property, with permission, and I did grant permission to some employees. But they had to be legally able to carry, they had to leave the gun in their vehicle, and they could not carry it in my truck fleet.

All Revol mobile phone stores. At the moment Indianapolis is the only Indiana city where they have stores, but they have them all over town. They are out of Ohio.

Found out about one today. Tuchman Cleaners

Might as well add the City/County Building downtown and schools too. :rolleyesedit:

Hey folks, this is wonderful, but what CITIES are these places located in?

If we are going to build any sort of database then we need to know a reasonable amount of information. I propose we list the NAME of the place, the TYPE OF BUSINES, and the CITY or CITIES in which it/they are located. If you also have the STREET ADDRESS that is a bonus. JMO

You're right. I think we should treat the Post Office differently though. For the most part, we don't have a choice but to deal with schools and gov't buildings. However we have alternatives to the post office in a lot of cases.

    Question:
How do you go about inquiring without divulging your carry?
Look for a sign in some obvious place. If not visible, then look for a sign in a less than obvious place.

Some places have them on/near the doors. Other places have them in 'common' areas (food courts and office/bathroom areas at shopping malls). If they are not posted then there is no reason to presume they have a disarmament policy.
