I would have kept is mum, but since I won't be able to attend, I thought I'd share this info... lol.

There's a nice auction coming up in Bluffton at the 4-H Park on Saturday, June 5th. The catalog shows about 75 guns, with several nice Remington, Savage and Ruger rifles plus some Winchester lever actions (and one Marlin 1894 .357 that I would really love to bid on...), and a few hanguns, mostly S&W revolvers. There's also quite a mix of reloading equipment and supplies, plus some knives. Here's a link.

I believe the sale ring with guns will start at 12:30 pm. The items can be viewed on Friday before sale. Happy shopping!!!

Did you notice whose stuff this was? Bayou Bill's, the guy who wrote outdoor articles for many papers including the Indpls Star. I really enjoyed his articles, hasn't been the same since he died.

How have auctions prices been around you guys?

I live around Richmond, IN ... Walther Hawkins probably has a gun auction >50 once every couple weeks. I don't go anymore though. The auctioneer's an idiot ... and prices typically over going well over retail!

    Thanks, Neal

I second the emotion. Met Bayou Bill many times at the yearly BS&T Outdoor Show. Outdoor Indiana, a book penned by Bill is very dogged eared but still resides in my bookcase.
This is a chance for people to purchase dies and presses.
