If anyone is familiar with the friendship flea market near Madison it starts this weekend also.

Should be on the hilltop in the guard armory. About 200yds west of the Big Lots store. Yet another one I will miss.

I use to hear alot about Friendship,is it still as nice of a gathering as it us to be 10 years ago?

I personally like the flea market side of it. If you look hard you can find some interesting things. If you dig blackpowder or the primitive side then you'll love it.

Not sure how it was 10 years ago , i have only lived in the area about 8 years. I think it is nice and there are deals to be found. Wear you walking shoes , there are several areas set up . I agree with The Dude .

How big?

How large is the venue? I am looking at going to a few gunshows to try selling my G23... is it worth a 1 1/2hr drive to madison or is it a smallish show?

Nice, a small town show, not to crowded. We were camping in the area, I saw the signs coming past on thursday. Bought 2 old revolvers a few used knives, and a few boxes of ammo. Nice show.
