I've been looking at these and finally popped on one. This thing is very well made. Comfortable in my hand. Accurate and just looks darn good too. I'm really impressed not to mention the potential with the other barrels that are available. I'm very pleased and will be looking for another one.

I just purchased one, also. last Friday. Its the Texas Defender, 3" barrels, in .327 Fed Mag. Today I received a coupon for 50% off a second barrel, so I ordered a 3.5" in .40S&W. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I do like it so far.

Oh, you forgot the photo of your new gun. Here is what mine looks like...

Well, for some reason?? My pic. won't upload but it's the USA Defender. In the brochure I got with it, it says it's one of only 5,000 produced.

I have no use for a derringer, don't even know what I would do with it. However, if I found a Bond Arms for a good price... it might just follow me home. Maybe I watched too many episodes of Wild, Wild West as a youth.

    Oooooooh!
I really like that .327fed/mag round.
Not all together sure about it in such a small package, but...

I have 2 .327's and am just enamored with both.
    One is a 4.2" barreled Ruger SP101
The other is a Taurus J-frame 2" snubby. This is a snappy little handgun.

Sorry for the threadjack....well, not really

I like the .327FM, very much. This makes my 3rd handgun chambered for it, have a Single Seven with 4 5/8", and a Taurus M327, hammerless. Might even be selling off my Charter Pitbull in .40S&W to help fund an LCR in .327. I really wish I could get an original SP101, with the 3" barrel. I am not willing to pay the prices I see people asking for them.

Haven't made the time to shoot the derringer yet. Soon, tho, I will get out there with it.

Now, back to the original threadworks.....

I sure miss the one I had, shouldn't have ever made that trade.
Ya, I had a Texas Defender that I traded also. Beat my head against the wall for over a year, even though I liked what I traded it for. Ended up buying another Bond Arms Texas Defender with the 45lc/410 barrel and a 38sp./357 mag. barrel. I wont be trading or selling this one.

I'd enjoy having on in 410 and 45 colt just for the sake of popping snakes on the mower. Only reason I figured I'd ever have one. Would make a nice backup with buckshot I suppose

near Bedford on a whole lot of land.
I got my 10mm barrel in over the weekend and got a chance to shoot it yesterday. Now, THAT is a handful! The most pain was from the back of the trigger guard hitting my knuckles. But as far as a contact or near contact weapon goes it should be devastating.
