Full disclosure: I do work for this group.

VisionWorks is running a two for $89 eyeglass special for the next
several weeks on clearance eyeglass frames. This is a good time for
those wanting a couple back-up pairs of eyeglasses if they live near a
VisionWorks owned optical (located near larger markets in 37 states). There are offices in Merrillville, IN and in Clarksville, IN as well as just across the border in Chicago, IL and Owensboro, KY.

Of course the staff will try to up-sell you on extra-thin lenses,
High Definition lenses, Non-Glare, sunglasses, photochromic, designer
frames, scratch resistant, etc... Just politely say you want to keep
the cost at the 'special price' and you will walk out with a back-up
or two to store with your supplies. Of course if you are in need of
nice pair go with the upgrades (which will help to keep me employed).

Visionworks | Designer Eyeglass Frames and Eye Care Center There is a zip code link at the top, put
in your zip code and, IF there is a location near you, it will pop up.
Click the location and the special deals will pop up. Click and
print out the coupon and take it in to the store.
You can use Dr. Bizer's VisionWorld | Store Locations if you
    don't know the zip code.

They will need a current eyeglass prescription (usually less than 1
year old but depends by state). If you don't have a current one they
do offer exams as well. As a bonus, the Louisville Kentucky market is
also offering a $1 eye exam for those that don't have insurance
    coverage (online coupon needed).
