Got a call from the Monroe Co. sherrifs dective. One of my P6 that was stolen almost 2 years ago has been recovered in Georgia. Drug Interdiction officers picked it off of a couple drug dealers. The officers found $20K in the trunk along with my P6. It had led a really rough life after it left my house. +1 for the boys in blue!!!:yesway::yesway::yesway::yesway:

Thankfully the police busted those guys and got your gun out of their hands! Too bad it is in the condition it is in though, but now you can work some of your HGC magic to make it look good again. Give it a new lease on life.

This gun is a really good example of the different types of finishes. If I remember correctly the slide was refinished in Cerekote stainless and the frame in grey parker Duracoat. Looks like the Duracoat didn't hold up as well. Hmmmmm.

The colors look a lot lighter in the other pics. I really like the 1st pic posted. Isn't it harder to get a finish to adhere to the aluminum?

Wow. I'm kind of surprised they sent it back to you, instead of saying "oh, it's being used as evidence, you might get it back after the trial in 5 years... oh, and we'll need $100 for shipping..."

Congrats on it finally coming back to you.

Pretty remarkable, bet you never thought you would see that gun again.

Kinda like a lost dog though, makes you wonder how the HELL it got all the way down to Georgia!
