Thank you
Like the title says, I am looking to pick up a pre-owned Glock 19 Gen 3/4 & have cash to pick one up. I will need to meet right in the South Bend / Mishawaka area, so that may leave out some options.
To make things easier, I have broken out my thoughts on what I am willing to pay. If you think my numbers are too low, go ahead and PM me with something to back it up. I am semi-flexible and would consider changing my mind if I see solid evidence indicating my $$s are off.
Gen 4 -
I can buy it new @ the LGS for:
Glock 19 Gen 4 New (approx. price @ LGS w/ tax) -- $570 ($529 + tax)
Provided the normal factory parts, manual, case and mags are included, I can justify paying:
Glock 19 Gen 4 NIB (owned, but never fired after factory test) -- $525
Glock 19 Gen 4 LNIB (fired, but minimal wear) -- $500
Glock 19 Gen 4 used (modest wear from use or carry) -- $475 ($300 difference in cash or additional trade items)
Gen 3 -
I can buy it new @ the LGS for:
Glock 19 Gen 3 New (approx. price @ LGS w/ tax) -- $525 ($489 + tax)
Provided all the normal factory parts, manual, case and mags are included, I can justify paying:
Glock 19 Gen 3 NIB (owned, but not fired) -- $475
Glock 19 Gen 3 LNIB (fired, but minimal wear) -- $450
Glock 19 Gen 3 used (modest wear from use or carry) -- $425
Of course, if your pistol has more mags, night sights, or other items of value to me, I could justify paying some additional $$ for them.
