Took a day off work, to prep for graduation open house on Sunday. Our youngest will be be at IUPUI this fall. Have a 20x20 tent arriving on Thursday. Picking up the tables and chairs on Friday. Preparing enough food to feed 100 guests. Glad it is only a graduation and not a wedding.

I remember after my graduation, several of us went over to a friends house, and drank 3.2 beer, (Ohio-1979) on his front porch. It was a lot simpler back then.

Yep, mine was in 1979 too. We had a dozen relatives over to the house right after the Graduation event. Nobody had big blow outs then...

After my graduation my friends and I pitched in and paid a guy we worked with to get us half a dozen cases of beer and several bottles of liquor.

I had it all stored in my trunk and my Dad busted me coming home late and found the stash.

That weekend I had to watch as family members and neighbors drank it at my graduation party. I also had to work extra shifts for a couple of months to pay all my friends back.

Congratulations! The party sounds like quite the event. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Thanks for the good words. It is turning into a big family reunion, with members coming from as far away as Alaska. The weather might be rainy on Sunday. We will just have to wait and see.
