    This is news... why?

    Campaigns (and PACs) at every level pay for polling. Some of it is public, some is not. Based solely on that site's information, as presented, Hart Research is paid to poll for both the PAC and the NBC/WSJ conglomeration. Where is the link that the polling for the PAC is being reported as the NBC/WSJ poll?

    Then, there is the jump from "paying for polling" to "paying for results" and the 2 are obviously different.

    Then, there is the idea that this is one national poll. I've said often that I think national polls this cycle are of more nominal value than ever. So the NBC/WSJ had her +11. Big deal. Reuters had her +10. Rasmussen had her +7.

    IF you care about national polls, it is is a good idea to not focus on any 1 of them. That's part of the reason RCP keeps a rolling average.
