Could be a bit of both. Depending on what is needed to form the end of the casing this would take away some issues people have with casting their own bullets. No leading of the barrel from cast bullets, probably open up to a wider variety of lead composition than casting allows and no issues from poor casts.Pretty neat!
Is this just an exercise in metal forming? Or is there a concern that projectiles will someday become the limiting factor in making cartridges?
That is actually available also. The compound thats available for reloading rim fire can also be used in the conventional Boxer primer designNow if the magician can make a primer...
And can frequently split the .380 caseI learned last nite a .380 can be chambered and fired in a 9, it just won't eject the spent case.
Would like you to believe I was testing for a SHTF scenario.....
But if I'm being truthful it was not having my glasses on while loading the mags.
Here ya go......Now if the magician can make a primer...
I have accumulated probably 6-8 pounds of spent primers....just because. Here ya go......

Easy trick is .223 brass into 9mm or tokarev brass. However the case wall is kinda thick so there's a good chance it doesn't chamber anyways.Very interesting, wonder what other uses can be discovered?
