Gan's Guns
Has anyone had any experience with Gan's? It looks like he does good work, and in an email he told me that custom smithing my SW1911 slide to look like this slide would be $235 before shipping and insurance, which seems to be a decent price to me. I don't have any experience with custom gunsmithing, either, so I might be getting screwed, so what do you guys think? Here's the price of the exact work I want done:
$90- to tritop the slide
$45- for 3 interrupted cuts on the tritop ($15 each)
$100- V-6 slide cuts
