Was at Gander Mountain in Merrillville a little earlier couldn't believe the amount of .22 they had on the shelf. Seems to me like the ammo shortage is pretty much over.

I buy gas when the price goes up or down because of all the speculation and when there's a new weekly panic in the middle east. Why not ammo.

Cabela's in Hammond had pretty much everything on Saturday evening . . . except .22LR and 9 mm P.

GM is always expensive but at least in my neck of the woods they did NOT panic price their stuff which is why people lined up at the door on the truck day to resell it online.

Its weird how different things are available in different places. We have .223/5.56 here but my brother in TX hasn't seen it there yet.

The Thunderbolt was $2.29 / 50. I'm sorry, I did not see the price of 7.62x39, but they had a lot of it, including stack and stacks of "Red Army Standard" and other brands.

Haven't been to Gander for years due to their prices, but that seems fairly reasonable given the recent history of .22lr pricing. Might have to stop in there tomorrow.
